Terms of Use for Belori

Effective date: August 19, 2026

Last updated: August 19, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are the End User License Agreement (EULA) between you and the developer of Belori. They govern your use of the Belori mobile application, the Belori website, and any related features and services (together, “Belori” or “the app”).

Belori is developed and operated by:

Aleksandr Kirillov, Independent Developer

Email: paslenapp@gmail.com

Linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/in/aleksandr-kirillov-283952173/

In these Terms, “Belori,” “the app,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer and operator of the Belori application. “You” refers to the person using Belori.

By downloading, installing, or using Belori, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the app.

How your information is handled is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

1. License to Use Belori

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use Belori on devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Belori is licensed to you, not sold. We and our licensors retain all rights that are not expressly granted to you in these Terms.

If you obtained Belori from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms of service and usage rules, and additional terms may apply (see Section 17).

2. Who May Use Belori

Belori is made for a general audience, and the whole family can keep a pet’s journal in it. We do not restrict by age who may record a walk, a meal, or a weight measurement.

These Terms are a contract, so an account, a subscription, and any purchase can be set up only by a person who is able to enter into a binding agreement under the law of their country.

Belori is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 — or under the higher minimum age set by the law of your country, which is up to 16 in parts of the European Economic Area — without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

If you are below that age, you may use Belori together with a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf and remains responsible for the account, for the information stored in it, and for any purchases made through it.

3. Your Account

Many Belori features work without an account. An account is required for features such as cloud synchronization, backup, access to your data on several devices, and sharing with other Belori users.

If you create an account, you agree to:

You can delete your account at any time in the app, through the account deletion request page, or by writing to us. See How to delete your data for the available options. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — see Section 7.7.

4. Your Content

“Your Content” means the information you enter into or upload to Belori, including pet profiles, events, attributes, measurements, notes, reminders, photographs, and documents.

You keep all rights you have in Your Content. We do not claim ownership of it.

To operate the features you choose to use, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing Belori to you — for example to synchronize your records to your other devices, to create backups, and to make records visible to the people you deliberately share them with. This license ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except for copies retained in routine backups for a limited period or where we must keep information to comply with the law.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights necessary to upload it and that it does not infringe the rights of others or break any law.

If you share pets, groups, or records with other Belori users, those users may see, copy, or keep the shared information outside the app. Share only with people you trust.

Belori is not a substitute for your own backups. Where a record matters to you, keep an independent copy — for example by using the export feature.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Belori, you agree not to:

6. Belori Is Not Veterinary Advice

Belori is an informational and record-keeping tool for pet owners.

Belori does not provide veterinary, medical, nutritional, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Statistics, patterns, correlations, intervals, reminders, and similar features are generated from the records you enter and are intended only to help you review your own information.

Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian regarding the health of your animal. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read in the app. If your animal may be in an emergency, contact a veterinarian immediately — do not rely on Belori or its reminders.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Free Features and Belori Care

Belori is free to download and includes free functionality. Some features and higher usage limits are available through Belori Care, an optional paid subscription.

The subscription plans that are currently offered, their duration, their price in your local currency, and the features they unlock are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase, and on the app’s App Store or Google Play product page. The description shown at the moment of purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.

7.2 Billing and Automatic Renewal

Belori Care is an auto-renewable subscription. When you subscribe:

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and to unlock the features associated with your subscription across your devices.

7.3 Free Trials and Introductory Offers

A subscription may be offered with a free trial or an introductory price. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription converts automatically into a paid subscription and the applicable price is charged.

Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Trials and introductory offers may be limited to one per user, per family, or per store account, and their availability is determined by the applicable store.

7.4 Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription

You manage and cancel your subscription in the settings of the store you purchased it through, not in the Belori app:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access to the paid features until then, and you are not charged again afterwards.

7.5 Refunds

Payments are collected by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them under their own policies, and we cannot issue or guarantee a refund ourselves.

This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you may have under the consumer law of your country. If you believe something went wrong with a purchase, write to us at paslenapp@gmail.com and we will try to help.

7.6 Changes to Prices and Plans

We may change subscription prices, plan contents, and usage limits. A price change affects an existing auto-renewable subscription only from the next renewal, and the applicable store will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before the change takes effect. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before the renewal date.

7.7 Deleting Your Account Does Not Cancel a Subscription

Deleting your Belori account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancel the subscription separately in your Apple or Google subscription settings, otherwise billing continues even though you no longer have access to the account and its synchronized data.

8. Third-Party Services

Belori relies on third-party services to work, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics), RevenueCat (subscription verification), and the Apple App Store and Google Play (distribution and payments).

These providers act under their own terms and privacy policies. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy describes what information they process.

Belori may contain links to third-party websites, store pages, and documentation. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security, or practices.

9. Availability and Changes to Belori

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update the app to fix problems, improve it, or meet legal requirements. Some updates may be required for the app to keep working.

Belori depends on your device, your operating system, your network connection, and the third-party services listed above, so we cannot promise that the app or synchronization will be available without interruption or free of errors. Where we discontinue a paid feature you are subscribed to, we will do so in a way that respects your subscription and the consumer law that applies to you.

10. Intellectual Property

Belori — including its software, design, interface, text, graphics, icons, and the Belori name and logo — is protected by intellectual property law and belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo, or branding, except as permitted by law.

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Belori, we may use them without restriction and without any obligation to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using Belori at any time by deleting the app, and you may delete your account as described in Section 3.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if it is necessary to protect other users or our services, or if we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will let you know first and give you an opportunity to resolve the problem.

When these Terms end, your license to use the app ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — including Sections 4, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 16 — continue to apply.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Belori is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements, that it will operate without interruption or error, that reminders or notifications will always be delivered, or that data will never be lost.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you as a consumer. In some jurisdictions the exclusion of implied warranties is not permitted, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Belori.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for all claims relating to Belori is limited to the amount you paid for Belori in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, these limits apply only to the extent permitted by the consumer law of your country of residence, and your statutory rights are unaffected.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, from your use of Belori in breach of these Terms, or from your violation of the law or of the rights of a third party. This section does not apply to the extent the claim results from our own act or omission.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the app changes, when new services or providers are added, or when legal requirements change.

The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice through the app, by email, or on the website before it takes effect, and — where the law requires it — ask for your agreement. If you do not accept the updated Terms, stop using Belori and, if you subscribe, cancel your subscription as described in Section 7.4.

16. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer, you benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you live. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights, and you may always bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Any dispute relating to Belori should first be raised with us at paslenapp@gmail.com. We aim to resolve complaints informally and quickly.

If your purchase was made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store’s own terms also govern the payment relationship between you and the store.

17. Additional Terms for Applications Obtained from the Apple App Store

The following applies if you obtained Belori from the Apple App Store. In this section, “Apple” means Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries.
